Using your own number (bring your own number)

If your number is already registered in a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), you can connect it directly.

1. Go to Respond Agents → WhatsApp and open the numbers section.
2. Enter the number in international format, for example +27821234567, and your WhatsApp Business Account ID.
3. Choose the messaging plan for that number.
4. We send a one-time code to the number. Enter it when the status shows Awaiting OTP.

Number statuses

• Awaiting OTP - enter the code sent to the number.
• Active - connected and answering.
• Failed - something went wrong; check the details and try again, or contact Support.
