Connecting your WhatsApp Business number

Before you start

• You need a WhatsApp Business number and access to the Facebook account that manages your business.
• You can keep the number customers already use - nothing changes for them.

Connect

1. Go to Respond Agents → WhatsApp.
2. Click Connect WhatsApp Business.
3. A Meta window opens. Sign in with Facebook, choose (or create) your business, and select the number to connect.
4. Confirm with the code Meta sends to that number.
5. When the window closes, your WhatsApp tab shows the number as connected.

After connecting

• Fill in your WhatsApp Business profile.
• Test with the Simulator, then send a real WhatsApp to your number from another phone.

Trouble connecting?

• The Meta window closes straight away - allow pop-ups for dashboard.joiin.co.za and try again.
• Your number isn't in the list - make sure you picked the right business in the Meta window.
• Still stuck - message us in Support and we'll connect it with you.
